My youngest loves this barrier cream - smoothes on a treat
I'm quite a big fan of Aveeno creams, having had a lot of good experiences so far. This barrier cream follows using their bath oils for my little ones when they had chickenpox.I usually use metanium, which works a treat, particularly on really severe nappy rash but I thought I'd give this a try.Pros:Good tube - the tube is like a hand cream vs the retro-style metallic tube metanium comes inRubs on softly - the cream is quite thick so I was initially worried it might need to be warmed up or would be too dense without being a bit sore on existing nappy rash but it smoothed on really wellMy youngest loves it - she's quite fussy about what creams she'll allow me to use and she seems really happy with the feel of this oneWorks a treat - have noticed that when I've used it there's a reduction in incidence of nappy rash.ConsDon't get any on your covers/clothes! - as with any nappy barrier/rash cream, this is quite thick and can leave a mark that's a little difficult to wash out. It's not a garish yellow like Metanium's nappy rash cream but it's a noticeable white and slightly metallic, so try to avoid or make sure your little one is on a mat.Verdict: highly recommended to try out with your little one and see how they feel.

    Bought this for our little one for when she inevitably gets rashes, this product is great for helping healing them and is soft on skin.

    This item is not good however for massages as I accidentally picked this up when seeing too the Mrs. Consistency is not easy to spread across and does not help any massage motion. Be sure to use this product as intended.
